Imperfect

write as desired

A reply to Dabi's Am I writing too much?.

Own your space. Share your thoughts with the world as frequently as desired. Every upload increases your probability of engaging people, whether they find themselves enamored or bothered by your thoughts.

Feelings of annoyance are often self-imposed. Like how annoyed people relinquish the feeling, you can choose to relinquish your fear of being annoying. Crying wolf, saying sorry, or other utterances can become mental holding patterns when done in excess. Applying those utterances when warranted and in moderation gets you heard better, increasing your efficacy.

If you don't know how something works, start anywhere. Even if you start at rock bottom, everyone was once a beginner. Even experts have so much room to grow. Staying silent doesn't ruin the chat by your words, but by wasted potential. Can you transform haunting yourself with unfounded fears into hyping yourself up through imagined upside?

Some visualize motivation like a battery that charges and drains. I like to view motivation as a flywheel fueled by starting, consistency, and most importantly, perseverance. Not only do I think your writing begets itself, but everyone should continue leaving marks indefinitely, through whatever media they see fit.
