winning attention lotteries
Inspired by orchids' you are an absolute loser if you use AI to write your blog post.
Is calling people losers for how they wish to write worthwhile? I wonder how much posts like the above will backfire into upvoting posts "blatantly written with the help of AI, em dashes and all." "And for some reason, they're getting upvoted enough to reach the Trending page," so what harm would one or more additional upvotes incur?
If I find words compelling enough to remix or otherwise valuable, I'm perfectly fine with having read them however they were made. If not, I can continue searching for value elsewhere. Perhaps I return someday to find value where it once wasn't.
While following your platform's rules so that you can publish another day, write then publish what you want how you want to.
As far as the personal touch of "your words" goes, they're going to be involved in your creative process somehow, whether through an AI system or not.
If you are a person "crafting blog posts with AI assistance" which evoke such strong reactions from others, you are a winner. The same holds true for posts without said assistance. Keep winning.
