Imperfect

win with others

Inspired by Robert's What’s a winner?.

Go beyond checking whether another person is doing the thing that you're about to do. Contact them. The more people you form meaningful connections with, the larger each person's distribution ends up being. Who knows how deep of a mutual teacher-student or mentor-mentee partnership can emerge?

You're already present and ready to act. Replace one more prerequisite with one more action. Instead of eschewing real life experience by only chasing others' lessons, inform your experience with their lessons.

The dichotomy of perfect practice and permanent practice also applies to failure. Yes, even failing has its failure modes. Winners analyzing and adapting from their failures win over those who don't mind failing yet do so without learning.
