start small
Inspired by Robert's post, A Pair of Paragraphs (post deleted).
We don't necessarily have to wait for a good place to start. Abandoning expectations altogether may liberate and surprise us. Writing a single dot, stroke, or character gives us a foundation to build upon. The same principle applies for any other activity. Each addition amplifies what came before. Before long, we might find our destination without realizing our true accomplishments.
