share good communities

TL;DR: Share good communities that you are interested in joining, are already a part of, or created yourself. Do that for anyone you value. That could include me, yourself, trusted friends, or other people entirely. Bonus points for sharing good communities directly with people you think would be most interested in them. Also, don't be shy about emailing and otherwise corresponding with more people from spaces you share with them.

I don't feel like I belong to enough good communities. By communities, I mean collectives, clubs, chats, and other such groups. By good communities, I generally mean active, serious ones whose synergistic constituents lift people up instead of tearing them down. As a result, who knows how many mutually beneficial exchanges I continue to miss out on? If I feel this way, how many people around me empathize with that sentiment, but haven't done nor said anything about it? Power laws make me think that crowd of bystanders is larger than I can fathom. We could be doing so much more in so much less time, surrounded and amplified by the grace of so many more people aligned with us.

Perhaps you have been reading my blog for ages. Maybe you just started reading it with this post being your first exposure to me. Based on your extensive or rudimentary knowledge of me, what communities would you recommend for someone like me? Although most if not all of my current readers write blogs themselves, my scope isn't limited to the platform we share. You can afford to think outside the box should you answer this question of mine.

Shifting to other subjects, could someone you know benefit from joining more good communities? What leads would you offer them that could liven up their life, whether those opportunities are online or offline? Could that someone be your conscious self?

Blogrolls, postrolls, and lists of general links receive so much fanfare when in the company of blogs. Where is that urge for connection and serendipity via teams, crews, and otherwise? Is this an agreed-upon assessment of the local landscape or do I just have wool over my eyes?

Before someone asks me to Google or ChatGPT my way out of this problem, I understand that I can do either. While I could have incorporated results from those providers into this post, I'd like to start from people like you first.

It feels like I receive and engage in such infrequent email correspondence to how consistently I have shipped my writing. Perhaps a deliberate request like this is what's needed to change that? Frequent contacts could have the answer I seek. Who knows: someone I have never spoken to before may share the catalyst that breaks me free from my funk.

No, I don't mind whether you type your message up yourself, paste an AI system output, or somehow get one of your many AI agents to reply to me. I haven't yet found a need to discriminate in that regard. Instead, I would love to receive any given response for or remix of my public ask, if not many more.

In general, if you ever feel on the fence about emailing me, just go ahead and do it. That strongly applies to this topic where it feel like I could use any stimuli I can get. Who knows what your nudge could lead to?

P.S. I updated my homepage, adding in a popular post section and a bunch of questions. I would appreciate if any of you took the time to check out that page and answer any of those questions if you can.
