share digital treasures

Inspired by Damien's I don’t want to leave digital garbage.

The Internet yearns for people like you to contribute treasures to its asymptotic fullness. More facets of your life deserve URLs. Publish what felt real. Ship your honesty. Rest easy knowing so much of yourself will survive you.

Less separating output and intention. More intentional output. Zone in on the thinking, emotions, and insights that matter most to you. Socialize those discoveries with the people who would find them most important. Leaving those traces is a form of thinking.

Publicizing your work can enrich others' understandings as well as your own. Exploit the happy medium between a small corpus needing no further explanation and a giant one needing backtracking. Speaking of scale, each and every human being's awareness of existence is so narrow. How can you confirm that nothing meaningful gets lost from your work disappearing tomorrow?

Private, solitary, and silent activities can be made be public, collaborative, and loud to great effect. While many things can rightfully end with you, can sharing more online unshackle yourself from the hypnosis of "digital garbage"?

P.S. Damien, your custom domain has been down since I first tried visiting it. You may want to check if your DNS records are properly configured. Your blog exposes no contact methods, so hopefully this message gets to you somehow.
