secret email whitelist
I haven't used Pagecord yet, but The Grizzly Gazette's How I post to bear via email instantly reminded me of that blogging platform. One of Pagecord's draws is native publishing by email. A user can send emails from the email address associated with their account to a secret email address. Supporting personal or shared blogs publishing from multiple emails, like how The Grizzly Gazette will, seems like a natural extension to that process.
I lacked the foresight to find the feature on the Pagecord Updates page. The next best thing was emailing Pagecord's founder, Olly, about it. It turns out that the feature to Send your blog posts from multiple email addresses was announced about a month ago. The single logged-in Pagecord user can add up to 3 sender (not login) email addresses, see them listed once verified, and delete any in one click.
The lower the barrier to entry, the more people can experiment with any given feature. Depending on your tech savvy and/or amount of fellow collaborators, you may prefer one of the above options over the other. It's nice having that element of choice in such a niche part of the web. We can share the love for certain services we use while showcasing how neat others we don't or haven't yet used can be. We can also eventually try them. Would you or anyone else you know want to share a blog with others?
