schedule surplus units

Executing on the capability of scheduling surplus units helps keep this project alive. Not only that, but it upholds consistent deliveries over time and within my chosen cadence. Over the last several months, I have set the expectation of uninterrupted publishing. Since starting out, I had set the expectation of sharing my thoughts with the world at a specific time of day ever since I started out here.

Those qualities remind me of long-running television sitcoms or game shows. Even through decades of airtime and significant cast changes, they exude a ubiquitous, yet dynamic staying power which most visual media cannot compare to. They feature a dedicated time slot that gets drilled into your memory even if you're not a fanatic of them. Episodes are often produced before they go live. Reruns help fill space as needed. This analogy makes me wonder how possible maintaining more shows and even channels is from a personal creative perspective.

Although, it's not like my creative process is as routine as I perceive televised enterprises to be. Some days see a handful of units produced. Some stretches of days see no units produced at all. Yet, with me producing more than I deliver, this streak of activity continues for better or worse.

From my experience, sticking to a daily interval has worked well. I can only imagine that preventing intraday scheduling has helped prevent burning out from lofty expectations. Also, other open time slots throughout the day could serve as vehicles for other creative efforts. You could even schedule an entire block of back-to-back episodes of online expression should you have the time, energy, and resources to.

Even with the above accounts of consistency, you can juxtapose it with efforts delivered spontaneously. I think that could work whether those efforts join the existing band or frontline another stage. Perhaps a surprise at an odd hour can land well with fans. Maybe a different station can be built, serving up shorter and more impromptu broadcasts that broaden reach.
