repaint your masks

I guess when it comes down to it, everything is about masks and performance isn't it?
Whether we're wearing a mask to share our lives via social media or blogs, or whether we using a mask to hide our own lives and pretend to be someone else. It's all about which mask is suited for the performance we're putting on.
Now to find the right fitting mask...
With that in mind, I couldn't help but think about what Hill wrote just a few days earlier in Your Blog Name Is a Workshop, Not a Museum:
We’re taught to have a polished product ready for day one.
But a blog isn't a museum for your finished work.
It’s a workshop—the messy place where you discover your voice.
The name is just the sign on the door. You can always repaint it later.
