mistakes as momentum
No matter how embarrassing they are, you can afford to treat mistakes as happy little accidents over flinch-worthy moments.
What you initially consider as a mistake might not be one after all. In some cases, doing nothing is the best option. In other cases, you could surprise yourself with how well hand-waving or contextualizing mistakes can mitigate harm. Even notes that sound as wrong as they could be can be made right. Shed your fear of technical incorrectness for the duty of serving your audience and the collective vibe around you as best as you can. Who knows what brimming creativity can arise from that?
When mistakes must be directly addressed, appreciate how much you can learn and grow from them. May that approach lift your spirits enough to get back on the horse, such that you can enrich your world once again.
Even great people make mistakes. Perhaps them taking mistakes in stride, as opposed to accepting them as setbacks, informs their greatness. Could you join their ranks?
