haters are pollinators

How many people in your life chase the opposite of what they love? Us humans have an immense ability to sabotage ourselves when we could have easily done nothing or something else.

Some do it as comedy, only to find themselves knee-deep. Too much immersion can do a number on your preferences. Some do it through overthinking. They allow their conscious self to reject their subconscious desires for easier games like mimicry or status seeking. Some do it unintentionally: warning about what they want to avoid, only to encounter the very same circumstances. Others share ideas that strengthen their opposition under their noses.

Hate can backfire spectacularly. Negative attention is as much attention as positive attention is.

Instead of making what you detest sound cool, listen to yourself. Cast spells upon what you value. Let others who aren't capable of being serious commit the mistake. Let their hate invigorate you. Elevate yourself such that your haters follow suit.

Consistently withstanding and appreciating hate flung toward you can help you outlast them. Growing or even creating as a result from the same can yield even better results.

The smartest haters understand they actually spread love and attention around. Better yet, they know they must preserve what they hate to continue playing their game. How can you take advantage of that knowledge?

Do you have haters that are helping you reach your best potential?
