John's Use the AI compass to chart your AI archetype led me to Simon's The AI Compass. That led me to version 11 of bambamramfan's The AI Compass. It's a quiz with 30 different AI sentiment archetypes mapped across a matrix of good/bad and overhyped/transformative alignments. Each archetype even has its own patron saint. Compared to the 29 question version of the quiz that Simon took, where he funnily enough got himself as his own patron saint, I only had to answer 15 questions on AI and AI ethics to see which archetype I best fit.

If you're wondering where that result lies on the compass, it's somewhat north of the midpoint of the top-right quadrant (AI being good and transformative). From what I can tell, I apparently view AI as slightly more good and transformative than even Paul himself. As far as sentiments beyond my own go, more archetypes and patron saints view AI as more transformative than I do compared to viewing it as more good than I do.
I feel like the archetype blurb somewhat sacrifices nuance for importance and hype compared to my actual thoughts on AI. That said, I'm pretty pleased with having Paul of all people as my patron saint. I could certainly use a venture capitalist income...
