flip your focus
A reply to Smoking causes injurious to health | Joyo's Playground.
I wonder why? People smoke even after reading "Smoking causes injuries to health" on the packet of cigarettes but still people smoke.
One possible reason is that the warning focuses on unwanted actions (smoking) and outcomes (injuries to health). Instead of immersing the customer in existing uncool and destructive behaviors, show how cool and rejuvenating the other possibilities are. Proposing a way out like "healthier alternatives to smoking maintain good health" flips the focus toward desired actions and outcomes.
