Forking your content five times? Those are rookie numbers! You can fork your content anywhere and everywhere as many times as you wish. That does a great job of encouraging others to interact with and remix it, while diminishing the importance of you owning it. Set your content free like the wild animal it is. Allow it to live a life of its own, as if you can even witness that in full.
Send your content through as many different mediums as you can muster. Rehash it in fresh ways within the same medium it was originally published. Make it transcend the Internet itself through approaches like printing it all out and plastering it all over your physical world.
Embrace the impurity and imperfection of fossilized typos, improper grammar, and other apparent defects you discover after sharing your work. Keep or fix them according to your desires, knowing that either option has its upsides.
You can afford to deposit more of yourself in both cyberspace and meatspace alike. It matters less that your soon-to-be fossils remain in pristine condition. It matters more that they're visible enough for archaeologists like you to find and preserve. Tender loving care for essences traveling beyond their discoverers or conduits can be incredibly cheap yet rewarding. While nothing is forever, we can do our best to ensure that fossils wearing any name not only remain, but get repaired when needed to the best of our ability.
