In my view, Discord's recent age regulation announcement and the surrounding discourse motivates different facets of personal and communal preservation:
- Instead of worrying about most people or the average person, maximize benefits and minimize weaknesses for yourself and the willing people and communities around you.
- Use as many online and offline mediums, platforms, and backups as possible to coast when one or more implode.
- Start beautifying yourself now so your inevitable deepfakes look good, whether created with your government ID photo or otherwise.
