delegate project momentum
Inspired by Manu's Thoughts On People and Blogs.
How can you prevent burnout from audience-driven projects like Manu's People and Blogs due to busy lives, hanging exchanges, and broken promises?
Here's my answer: delegate as much frictionless project momentum as possible to your audience for them to prove its worth.
- Replace flaky email invitations with hands-off modes: committal forms, prompts without strings like my virtual space tour, or otherwise.
- Publish audience contributions as they arrive. Alternatively, fit them into a regular schedule, using surplus contributions for future releases and empty releases for shilling whatever you want to.
- Expect no response to meet any with gratitude. Take Fran's Virtual spaces as places which responds to my post above. Thanks Fran!
- Spend saved resources starting more projects in hopes of finding and inspiring more moonshots.
