bear the timeline
The way I see it, Bear's feeds are akin to Twitter timelines. Visited posts and gifted upvotes indicate your alignment with other posters' creativity and taste. When mastered, added filters can transform feeds into that much more of a For You experience. Other cross-blog interactions, such as sifting feeds for posts as prompts or inspiration, make me think about how easily you can retweet, quote-tweet, or even subtweet someone else's posts.
Yet, it's not all good vibes. It's unfortunate to witness posters suffer or burn out prematurely for whatever reason. I think that maximizing mentorship, connections, and pseudonyms while minimizing discoverability would be a good way to start out. In the spirit of everything being numbers, you don't have to start from zero unless you wish to. Decoupling from pseudonyms and increase discoverability over time can be healthier than reactively rugpulling yourself on main. Take the time and practice you need to accept that people can remix your ideas, thoughts, and creativity however they see fit.
Given the global visibility discourse I address in numbers as play, it can mean nothing without earning the local visibility of players aligned best with you. Helping everyone starts by befriending the few force multipliers that can propagate your work out the furthest. Post in the spirit of finding the tribe you can best reciprocate toward greatness. Your blogs, posts, replies, and everything in between can be used as an effective component within your serendipity engine. Out of all the creatives you know, who do you think practices this the best or most visibly?
