Imperfect

appreciating link blogs

Inspired by bloggers like Elmer, Lennxa, and Maurizio.

I enjoy how concisely certain link blogs summarize or quote longer papers, videos, and other external content. Whether it's a few sentences or several paragraphs, their succinct takeaways make bookmarking or moving on a breeze. I like how their coverage transcends the most popular "current things". That said, I also appreciate them sometimes covering AI, especially with how much I tend to write and think about it nowadays. Sometimes, their posts even assist me with my own. As a recent example, Elmer's Supertoys! helped make ai dreamcatchers a reality. Overall, I find my connection with their presence neat, even if it was established by serendipity.

Given my thanks, I'm curious as to what classes of creatives you could give thanks for. Bonus points if you don't already share a blogroll that may very well count. Then again, if you have one... When did you last update it? How active is everyone you have listed? Could you drill down further for great effect?

All this to say that you can vary your online publishing as you please. Some follow life chronicles. Others yearn for evergreen, impersonal accounts. Double dip or go beyond, whether within your own outlet or through any number of desired platforms and services. The more blogs, the better.
