100 day streaks

I haven't achieved nor surpassed a 100 day streak with this blog of mine. However, Nate has according to his Notes on blogging 100 days in a row:

Yesterday was my 100th consecutive day of blogging. That's a personal record (by a lot).

His preference for daily writing derives from its constrained habituation. Every day becomes a writing day, encouraging mostly bite-sized chunks. Those can be churned out consistently over time.

Yes, his approach differs a bit from my "write whenever and schedule the surplus for later" method. Still, I hope to celebrate surpassing the same milestone as he did in my near future.

He also shares a few tips and tricks up his sleeve:

Such a long streak can seem impossible when you haven't accomplished it, let alone imagined it. On the other hand, the practice can be as simple as any other acclimatization. Like he wrote:

Writing begets writing
